What drives you to create a post like "how I get $X ARR"/"how I raised to $X in Y time"?

I understand people who create posts to ask something—they need advice, insights, or to gain karma. But what about those of you who have already achieved success? What is your motivation for creating such posts? Is it to build a community, look for partnerships, or something else? The purpose of this post is to help these like me understand what else I could gain from Reddit that I might be missing.
