Struggling to Stay Positive as a New B2B Business Owner ( I will not promote)
Hey everyone, i will not promote I started my own B2B business on January 2nd after spending over 10 years in the industry on the operational side. I’ve always wanted to move into sales, but I still work a full-time job to pay the bills while building my client base. I’ve been putting in the work—attending networking events, joining my local Chamber of Commerce, cold calling, and even going door-to-door—but so far, I’ve had one client who didn’t qualify and several prospects who ghosted me. I knew this would be tough, but I’m struggling mentally to stay positive. For those of you who have been in B2B sales or started a business from scratch, how did you push through the slow start and keep your momentum? Any advice or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated!2
