Seeking "Pre-seed" Investors | Co-founders | Partners for CPG (I will not promote)
Hello Community! I have an MVP for a NEW Food & Beverage CPG startup, with an extensive market research business plan, estimations for the manufacturing costs, and a 2-3 year Go-to-market strategy with assumptions. It’s also live on a website as a landing & info page - mainly for investors to learn more and see an online presence with images and videos of the product. I have a patent-pending status on the unique packaging, a trademark for the name and a Pitch Deck with limited but promising traction. Like others who have posted here, I'm currently looking for (Investors / Co-Founders & or Partners) in exchange for equity. I believe in the idea and there is currently nothing similar on the market at this time. Everyone who has used the product see's the benefit but as some of you know CPG isn't always a part of investors portfolios due to the larger upfront startup costs. I have bootstrapped up to this point by working my regular job and paying engineers & designers to build the prototypes. I have reached a point where I’d like to receive external funding and I've recently had a lawyer draft (SAFE) documents to provide a more clear equity structure to interested parties. I'm going through the traditional channels of researching Angel Groups, VC's and Independent Investors who have shown a history of early stage CPG / Beverage startup "Pre-Seed" investments in the past but wanted to extend my outreach to this Reddit sub to see if you all had any other suggestions? In addition to funding I would very much like to speak with other founders or entrepreneurs in the (Beverage or Snack) space to get any feedback or advice before moving forward. Thank you in advance, any suggestions are much appreciated and I'm happy to connect through DM & LinkedIn off-site for anyone interested in learning more about this awesome opportunity! To add more context to the idea, the best comparison I can make is this: Just as Milton Hershey didn’t invent chocolate with the Hershey’s Kiss, he simply made the packaging design more inventive, scalable, and marketable. All the best to everyone reading, looking forward to your responses. Have a great day!5
