I feel like we are going to fail... Advice, thoughts appreciated. - I will not promote
We are an asian startup coming from a very conservative entrepreneurial culture. That doesn't matter so much I just wanted to mention that VC culture in this region is quite conservative, usually with very bad term sheets. Our investor has some control over how the money flows and now instead of about 12 months we have a 6 months runway due to a restriction. Next to fundraising we also have to prove to them that we can have the rest of the money that they invested. Our product is not there yet, we have minimal traction but not nearly enough to start fundraising just yet for a round of about $1M. And this 6 months restriction just make it even harder to produce results. I feel constantly tired, unsure about the next steps and how to get there, kind of having an impostor syndrome. I cannot clarify the chaos in my head. I also have very high expectations towards myself, like feeling like at this age I already should have achieved this and that with my startup but it's just struggling. Experienced founders, how did you handle situations and feelings like this previously?2
