Any Lepcha speakers in NYC?

I realize this is probably a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone knows any Lepcha speaker(s) in NYC. I've been in touch with Himalayan language activists in Queens, and they've never encountered anyone, but I supposed it's still possible. I am a student of Himalayan languages for research purposes, and enjoyed learning some Lepcha when I worked in Bhutan. Thanks very much!
