Losing Keywords, specifically about our niche and topic.

Hi., I do Marketing for a Coding bootcamp, we teach Javascript. According to Ahrefs we are losing more and more keywords per day... Could someone help me understand a bit what is happening? i can find no issues in our page audit. I went to the keywords tab and most of our high hit volume keywords are now set to "Lost" which is confusing. Could someone with some knowledge please share steps i can take to look into this?
