Backlinks on site with lots of casino sidebar links, etc

I paid a guy through a forum to do a backlink package and am now seeing that some of the sites have a sidebar with lots of casino links etc. Like 200 links with anchor text at least . Is this bad for me or a non issue. Ive read that sites linking to casinos etc can be bad in googles view but I dont really know for sure. Or will google just ignore my links on these sites and basically I get nothing out of it? If I knew about this I would have never used this service.
