This subreddit is on the path of becoming r/IndiaSpeaks
The composition of Ranchi’s population says it all. The popular sentiment and political climate in Ranchi reflects a lot what India itself is going through. Now, personally I feel that the world in general is polarised and internet and social media has contributed vastly to it. There is close to zero appetite for discourse and the propensity to get influenced in times of passive content consumption (and now passive creation with GenAI) has widened the gap further. The bottom line to this rant is that this post of mine is rather a bleak and futile attempt to engage with even one of you to take a step back and reflect, which my hopeless ass says, will never happen. To the minorities in this community, I am clueless. But the general sentiment shakes me. Idk what to do, I feel like leaving this subreddit, I feel like running away from sources that reflect the rough edges of this world, or even worse do a balancing act. My rational side says, make efforts. Let me know your thoughts. I am 🤏 this close to just leaving.3
