My opinion : Udaipur is overrated city and exaggerated in social media

I've recently been to Udaipur and felt that city is overrated as a tourist. I didn't see Rajasthan culture in Udaipur unlike Jaipur and Jaisalmer where you get to explore local culture in terms of food and people. Jaipur has some of best good I've ever tried in my Rajasthan trip. Udaipur old city is not so clean and you see trash everywhere you go. As a tourist you explore old city more than the actual city but old city is not well maintained. It's always the people who make the city, As part of exploring city, I've been to a shopping mall for kids movie for evening show as I was feeling bored in city. For the first time in my life I've seen a guy smoking in an Inox screen which is playing a kids movie. Many places I've been in the city lake view points, but most of them are surrounded by trash or in the trash... I'm not sure if municipality is doing its work. My suggestion if you are a tourist trying to explore Rajasthan food and culture... Skip Udaipur as it has nothing to offer in those terms. You can choose Jaipur, Jodhpur or Jaisalmer Edit : Removing comments on Jaisalmer as it misleads the whole point
