Travelling to Bharatpur, need suggestions

Hi Rajasthan, I am travelling to Bharatpur, Rajasthan for 3 days my with family, this is my first trip to Rajasthan. Any suggestions from this group on safety, where to stay and places I should try to cover and to avoid if any. Thanks in advance to all those who will share their inputs.
