How do i apply for a duplicate DL?

Dear Rajasthanis, I would appreciate your feedback here. I am originally living in Rajasthan now moved out have a driving license which i lost. I have a scanned copy of it with me. I am visiting my hometown now and would need to drive. How do i go about getting a new driving license issued? When i go to the online website sarathi.parivahan.gov.in to apply for a duplicate, it asks me to fill in my DL number and relevant details but tells me that my info is not in central repository. What needs to be done next? I am going to have a short vacation at my hometown so i am on a time crunch as well. Any pointers are really appreciated. Dhanyawad
