Hot Take: Panjab is getting Christianized because of internal discriminations in Sikhi
Here is my opinion on mass conversion to Christianity in Panjab. First of all I don't think it's bad, it's an individual's choice of whatever they want to be but it is wrong if some missionaries are converting them forcefully. But why is this happening? It's simple as you can see most of these Christians are from Dalit bhaichara or low income families who get humiliated for being themselves on daily basis. Baba nanak taught us that "awall alleh Noor upaya kudrat ke sab bande" but instead we built 5 different gurdwaras in villages based on castes, Sikhs in Panjab did not acted upon what they preach. For example we had a Majhbi Sikh family in our village who were core devotees but their house conditions were poor, people regularly make them pity of them being Dalit by calling them choorda our sarpanch taught his daughter to not talk with them, nobody wants to marry their daughters because they were Dalit. So they married their daughters off to Christian family and some pastor took financial responsibility of their marriage, now they have beautiful daughter. Secondly these low income people are just surviving, they are not even sure that they will have food next day or not, these are hopeless people neither our beautiful government help them nor any Sikh agency like SGPC. So these pastors give them social validation and financial support. Why won't these people do that? Missionaries are doing the work that should have been done by Sikh organizations who rarely would provide any financial help to poor Sikhs. I am a son of baazigar granthi Singh and I know how much SGPC care about lower income Sikhs or granthis. My father's bhooa seems interested in these pastors she also joined dera sacha sauda before, she is poor has alcoholic husband who do nothing but drink she is the man of her house. This was all my opinion you can agree disagree in comments, I would love to see your opinions on it. Thanks you4
