How to make friends?

I’m 25M I live near Hinjewadi. I’m in Pune since 2017 and all my friends have left the city. Some went back to their hometowns some moved to pursue masters. I am the only one left here. Had a GF 23F of 2.5 years in but things also ended with her 2 weeks back due to long distance and couple more issues, she’s in Bangalore. I planned to move there in a couple months to fix the distance issue and other fixable problems we have and also be with her but she doesn’t wanna continue the relationship. Man this is lonely, I live alone with my dog, I got no friends to just sit and talk to, no one to hangout with. How do I actually make friends or should I also just move back to my hometown?
