Getting confused about this internship+crush situation

A month ago I had gone to this men's wear boutique with my brother for his wedding outfits, talked to the owner (guy's father) about internships and they told me i could apply anytime. A few days ago I decided to finally apply for the internship at their boutique and my portfolio is under review by him right now but I feel like now I won't be able to text him or talk to him in a way of dating. Pan maybe I can because corporate setting Nahiye hi? I'm confused, what do y'all think? Should I text him even if I get accepted or rejected in the internship?
