Seeking Guidance on Ensuring Justice and Coping with Loss Without Being on the Frontline
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult time following the tragic loss of my friend, who committed suicide by jumping off a building. Recent reports indicate that harassment might have been a factor, and there’s news of a her friend being arrested for abetment. With her gone, I find myself grappling with the overwhelming reality that she’s no more. My primary aim is to ensure that justice is served and that the investigation remains thorough and transparent. However, I do not wish to be on the frontline or interfere directly with the process. I’m looking for advice on the following: • Staying Informed: How can I effectively keep track of the investigation’s progress? • Accessing Documentation: What steps should I take to request or review the chargesheet and any evidence that has been collected? • Supporting Justice: Are there ways for a concerned individual to ensure that all leads are properly pursued without directly intervening? • Coping with the Loss: How do I come to terms with the fact that she is no more? Any advice or resources on dealing with this grief would be greatly appreciated.2
