Need recommendations for a good charitable/govt Hospital for a patient in ICU.
Following is the message I received from a friend, his mother is currently in ICU, out of danger but her condition requires another 4 to 6 weeks of ICU care, thus they have decided to shift her to a good govt/charitable hospital due to financial reasons since the patient is not insured. Any help is appreciated regarding any good charitable or government hospital around the eastern side of Pune. Here's the message: ''The patient was admitted to ICU in private hospital for 2 weeks for treatment of seizures and convulsions. Patient is now stable, MRI is clear. Patient has acquired CIM - critical illness myopathy. The recovery period is predicted to be 4-6 weeks and patient will be weaned off ICU care in this period. Private ICU stay for such long duration is financially unfeasible so we are looking for recommendations / similar experiences for any good charitable hospital or govt hospital in pune. Treating Dr has recommended Navale or Sasoon.'' Also we'd appreciate it if anyone could share their experience with Sasoon hospital, esp the ICU.4
