Little tip on getting HSRP fitted on car and saving some money.
Hey folks! With the mandate to get HSRP (High-Security Registration Plates) installed on all vehicles before March, many of us with older number plates must schedule the fitment. Surprisingly, the process is quite straightforward! Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ You can book an appointment online ([here](https://transport.maharashtra.gov.in/ZoneWiseWebsiteRedirect.html)) and choose a convenient date and time. 2️⃣ Head to the dealer location as scheduled, and they’ll take care of the rest. When you get your HSRP fitted, you’ll have two options: * **Without an HSRP frame**: If you choose this, the cost is already included, and you’re good to go. * **With an HSRP plastic frame**: This is where things get tricky. Dealers charge ₹500-600 for the frame, but you can easily buy one online for ₹200-250! It’s the same quality, and you save a significant amount. Especially for older cars, adding a nice frame makes the plate look much better. So, grab your own frame beforehand to avoid overpaying at the dealer. **Remember frame is not mandatory as being unnecessary pushed by dealers.** Examples of locations offering HSRP fitment and looting customer with either making frame mandatory or selling overpriced: * **Deccan Honda, Pimpri** * **Maruti Suzuki, Pimpri** Hope this helps everyone save some time and money! 😊5
