Got scammed by guy who's from Pune and is active in this community

Hey r/pune, I recently had a terrible experience with a Reddit user who’s active in this subreddit. He claimed to be buying Pi cryptocurrency and agreed to pay upfront (₹42k/$482). However, instead of sending USDT as promised, he sent a worthless coin (worth only ₹3!). When I confronted him, he blocked me and is now claiming that the WhatsApp number he used to communicate with me is "fake" and not his. If any of you have interacted with him and know anything about him dm me.
