Can someone confirm if the Sardarjis asking for donation are doing some good work?

Sardarjis ask for donations. It is not the first time I have came across them. I always decline politely and walk away. But there was a twist today. One of them approached me and I declined and started walking away. But he stopped me and started talking. He said things about me and my personal life which were very accurate. He said he was an astrologer. I was shocked and impressed. One thing led to another and I ended up paying/donating INR 201. I may have been fooled and it is quite embarassing. But can somebody just tell me what they do with that money? I just want to make sure that they utilize my money for some good cause.
