Best way to pick someone up from the airport in a cab?

Hi All, I have a friend landing early morning 3:30AM (international flight) and I need to pick him up in a cab. What is the best way to do this since the whole Aeromall hassle has started? Also how much time do you think it’ll take him to get out of the airport? (Considering international flight, immigration etc.)
