I'm 37 years old and in the process of finalizing the purchase of a 6-year-old resale flat for 75 lakh INR. My wife and I both have a combined income of around 40 lakh INR per annum and currently have savings of about 60 lakh INR. What amount should we consider for a home loan to minimize interest payments while also taking advantage of tax deductions? Any advice would be appreciated!
