Tech Illiteracy is a serious threat amongst us (NE peeps)

Sup NE guys and gals, I often criticize mainlanders when it comes to immigration in NE, they often try to pry in our culture and politics unjustifiably. But I think we NE folks should admit one thing and introspect. When it comes to the tech startup scene and innovation(it's a joke in this country btw, in name of innovation india does copy paste), it's the mainlanders only who take the strides to represent India. Although those steps are nothing compared to global standards, at least mainlanders are doing something. I see little to no contribution from NE folks in this case. Why? Overall, it can be said that India doesn't have that culture which can nurture tech startups and innovation, The recent deepseek AI vs OpenAI fiasco was a strong indication India simply doesn't have the capability to have a mark globally. India doesn't have a deep research based approach. It's always service based. That's why we see poping up of service industry like fintech, delivery, edtech etc. But whatever step is taken, the representation is taken by mainlanders only. It can also be proven by the recent GitHub repo which showcases a pretty decent number of GenAI applications in India. And it's not something impressive as it is only implementation I don't see NE guys doing anything in this regard. Overall it can be concluded that tech literacy is big issue for NE folks. I think we should look for our own tech startup scene for NE India or hopefully pan India so that it can generate jobs for our folks. What are the hurdles do you think we are facing to develop such a vibrant field? I know the hardware industry is pretty much impossible to develop in NE India, but I think the software and services industry is doable. And overall tech literacy is a need of the hour for NE people. It's a considerable threat because ur adversaries are using it to set narratives for u and u need to counter that. Shower your thoughts.
