How will NE voice ever be heard, if delimitation happens based on population.
If delimitation happens based on population, these are the forecast/results of the seats in parliament. (This is just the forecast and to be implemented after 2026 census it seems) North 1. Rajasthan-19 2. Bihar-30 3. Madhya pradesh -18 4.UP - 48 5. Maharashtra-20 South 1. Tamilnadu -2 2. Andhra Pradesh -3 3. Karnataka -8 4. Kerala-1 5. Telengana -3 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thehindu.com/news/national/understanding-the-delimitation-exercise-explained/article67819203.ece/amp/ Let's be real, unless we pump out 30 babies per women, we're never seeing better representation among the States of India, I wished we had a more federalised structure like the US, here minorities are basically 2nd class, proven by Manipur being ignored for more than a year(seems the PM hasn't even gone there till today) Face it, BJP will try their best to pander to the Hindi belt states and win easily, as long as the Hindi belt has uncontrolled high fertility rate, they will surely always win with their fearmongering tactics, which even the South are now afraid that this is the agenda/strategy of bjp. The South has largely controlled their population while the North has basically never tried to control at all, and the next generation will become the votebank for bjp for the next 100 years atleast. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1369968/india-fertility-rate-by-region-and-state/ How can we find more/better representation in this Union of India? Should we just basically merge as 1 state so maybe we can have more representation in the parliament? (I know it's stupid) (I maybe wrong in some cases so feel free to correct me and share your opinions)5
