Happy New Year to Human Beings

Happy new year to all of you. I have recently started stepping out for early morning walks in the society that I live in. As I stepped out on January 01, 2025, I witnessed this. I felt disgusted, angry, hopeless and disappointed. There is nothing wrong in celebrating the arrival of a new year, but one has no right to leave behind such a sight for anyone walking on this path or for the poor housekeeping guy coming for his shift on the first day of the new year. The damage done to the environment is not even considered, looking at what we all do year on year in October/Diwali. I am living in the hope that right minded people will increase and the balance will pivot to people making sensible decisions. Thank you for reading this.
