So many wrong deliveries?

Recently shifted to Noida for a short stay. In this while, I Have ordered multiple times from amazon, healthkart, etc, and almost all deliveries have been defective or different products. Even If I don’t consider this an issue considering the return/exchange policy, what is baffling is that for all my return/exchange amazon deliveries, no one showed up to pick up and exchange the products and the app shows “delivery failed” for the exchange… the app a few days later is showing return received and refund is in process…. But, It has been 20 days since and nothing is happening. Neither I can use nor reject the products and neither am I getting any refund… I’m scared to order from amazon now. Are noida peeps experiencing this or am i the only one??
