Lying to get some social interaction

I've always been terrible with social interaction, but it got worse when I became an adult and NEET, because now people aren't nice with me simply because I don't work. Like, is not like I'm asking for something besides respect for being a human. So I started to lie. I say that I work as a graphic designer, and do freelances sometimes, already finished collage (not even started), and the worst part is the fact that works. I'm treated a lot better when I lie. Like WTF, I'm literally the same person. I'm tired to do this theres a severe imposter syndrome as a side effect, So my options are: being treated like trash, being a impostor or isolation. I'm on the isolation now.
