Has anyone tried to work (part time) in order to alleviate boredom during the week?

I'm thinking of working part time an easy job to get some extra income, although I receive neetbuxx and I'm not that materialistic. I would do it more to alleviate the boredom. I could do volunteer work, but I'm just not that interested into working for nothing.
