Navi Mumbai Shocker: Drunken Husband Stabs Wife in Nerul, Arrested After Manhunt.

Nerul police arrested 26-year-old Shaha Bharbhuiya for stabbing his wife, Apela Shaha (34), after a drunken domestic quarrel on Friday night. She sustained multiple stab wounds to her abdomen and limbs, underwent surgery at DY Patil Hospital, and was later shifted to NMMC Hospital, Vashi, due to a lack of family support. The accused, a daily wage labourer, fled and kept changing locations between Nerul and Juinagar railway stations before being caught on Saturday. His wife worked as a waitress at a ladies' bar, and police are verifying claims that she is a Bangladeshi national. An attempt to murder case has been registered against him.
