Help!

So the thing is i've been living in a hotel for past few days in mumbai and have parked my car below it as it was advised by the hotel to park it...but now i've got sms of an e-challan from the traffic police and it says causing incovenience/obstruction in public place for abandoning vehicle..blah blah blah.So should i pay the challan or is there any way to cancel the e-challan.
