Clothes Donation at Vashi Flyover Generosity or Travesty

Ok , I would tell you an incident that happened today while travelling to Kharghar. I was going to Kharghar via Ola Cab and My mother asked the driver to go down the Vashi flyover, where she wanted to give some clothes to some poor people residing near the flyover. So the driver did as per instructions and we reached the signal at the flyover. Near the flyover, some repair works are being conducted so she wanted to cross it to give it to them. My father and driver said that she should be careful since the signal will go green at any moment, but two poor kids , walking in between the cars took the clothes given by my mother. The clothes were stacked in Two heavy bags. Now to the question I would ask , is this an act of Generosity or Travesty since its between all the traffic & we don't know who are those people (Some may claim to be illegal migrants). Do share your answers (also through your experiences if you need ).
