I am 27, feeling lost and lonely

I know there are alot of people who don't have any friends. And I am on the same boat I don't have a single friend with whom I can be carelessly without judgment share all of my deepest thoughts. And now when I look back I can see myself running away from creating meaningful relationships in college, schools and workplace. For all the lonely people out there, do you think it's your mistake that you don't have any friends?
