College Life: Not What I Expected
Hey fellow Redditors, I'm a student at Jhulelal Institute of Technology and I'm fed up. Casteism and favoritism are rampant on campus, and it's creating a toxic environment. It's clear that certain groups of students are given preferential treatment because of their caste or connections. It's not about who's deserving or capable; it's about who you know and where you come from. This isn't just unfair; it's also damaging. Students are being held back and marginalized because of their background. And to make matters worse, this college is a total shell. There are no opportunities, no resources, and no support. It's just a place to collect a degree, not to learn or grow. Has anyone else experienced this? How did you cope? Let's call out casteism and favoritism for what they are: unacceptable. TL;DR - Casteism and favoritism are ruining my college experience. Share your stories and let's call out this toxic behavior.3
