Underrated Food Joints

We usually see overrated places mentioned for food options but I would like to know some hidden gems/underrated places that I can explore when I visit Mysore on my weekends there. I am open to explore all types of cuisines, preferably vegetarian and chat options :-). Also travelling is not an issue but if it's around Kuvempu nagar and Saraswathipuram, I can visit multiple places in a single evening! Thanks a lot folks.
