Namaskara, how is the situtation of real estate here

Some people suggested me to look for mysore. I am looking for a suburb city, less populated with basic infra, good civic sense, ability to drill your own water, and free hold land. Ofcourse mysore climate is good, similar to bangalore or maybe better. So does it fulfill the requirements? Or is this city also heavily regulated on real estate? And if you could tell me about land price in terms of per sqyard or per sqm in the main city and little bit of outskirts away from hassle, will be a relief.
