The Price of Power: Democracy or Dictatorship?

We Indians are known for getting the best bang for our buck. Whether it's haggling over the price of groceries or meticulously analyzing a big purchase, we're always looking for value. We do our own little "desi SWOT analysis," weighing the cost against the benefits. But what about the taxes we pay? It's an uncomfortable truth that much of our hard-earned money ends up lining the pockets of corrupt politicians. And if you dare to raise your voice against this blatant theft? Suddenly, you're a target. The Income Tax Department, the municipality, unseen "mighty forces" – they all descend upon you. Your life in "normal" Indian society becomes a minefield. Is this freedom? Is this the democracy we so proudly proclaim? Or are we merely puppets, dancing to the tune of the powerful elite? Think about it: politics has become a family business, a prime example of nepotism. The same holds true for many industrialists. Power and privilege are passed down through generations, creating a closed system that's nearly impossible to penetrate. Are we trapped in a bubble, destined to be controlled by these self-serving dynasties? Can we ever break free from this cycle of corruption and cronyism? I wonder....
