BMC should really ban items sold in plastic
A newly renovated public garden became littered with trash within just one month. People carelessly discard wafer packets, bottles, and other garbage throughout the park. The issue stems from poor civic sense and a problematic mindset where citizens expect the government (BMC) to clean up after them. However, the government lacks adequate staff for maintenance. Two main solutions were proposed: 1. Make the park a paid facility to fund better maintenance and more staff 2. Ban the sale of items that commonly become litter (wafer packets, pan masala, single-use plastic) Open to other solutions3
