Water quality is so bad it gave me skin problems, Can you please recommend some water filters for shower and tap water/Hard water?

I shifted from Western line to Central line after my switch in Job. After a few weeks I started noticing some skin irritations, including scalp and hair issues, hair fall, dryness. So I, visited a dermatologist and he said it's because of the water in this region. Used some of the medicines as recommended and it cleared, but still the same water I'm using. What kind of water filter is recommended for hard water or water which might have some chemicals in Mumbai's Central line or pipes that comes to our homes and society that cause this problems?
