Visiting Mumbai for the weekend. Need help for exploration!

Hi, I'm visiting Mumbai for the weekend and its my first time. I really want to explore as much as I can in the 2 days that I have so I really need help in understand what to do and what area to find a hotel. I think my my main requirements are that I want to visit good bars/cafes in the evenings and do some local shopping if possible (other than the main tourist attractions like india gate and marine drive) Thanks in advance
