Trip Planning for a Foreigner

Hi peeps, my friend and I plan to visit Mumbai at the end of April. We want to purchase our flights and accommodation ourselves. With regards to transport, how reliable in Uber and other taxi services? We don't want to get scammed.... Do you think that Rs 60 000 Will be enough for private transport, tours and food for 5 days? Do hotels offer tour guides? Any suggestions?
