Serious question: Is ANYONE in favour of BMC’s 74,000 crore “Mumbai Eye” ferris wheel project?

Everyone I have spoken to is against this project. I am just wondering, is anyone except the BMC in favour of this project? No doubt they will make a lot of money off this project, while we will be under more years of construction and dust. The air quality is so bad in our city, what will people even be able to see from this ferris wheel?! And if we, the residents of Mumbai, do not want this, can we not stop it from happening? I think everyone agrees the money would be better spent cleaning up the city, bettering the air quality, and making usable roads and sidewalks!
