Seeking Guidance for OCI Holders Living in India

I have a friend who is an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and has been residing in India for about 8-9 years with his Indian parents. He often expresses frustration over the lack of clear information regarding his rights and the procedures he must follow as an OCI Example being, does he procure a normal term plan or a NRI term plan, same for health insurance, the taxes, the documents that he needs to have and etc. Despite his efforts, he feels lost navigating these issues. I wonder if the information is genuinely scarce online, or if he simply doesn't know how to find it or connect with others in similar situations. Questions for the Community: Can anyone share their experiences or knowledge regarding the rights and procedures for OCIs living in India. Any insights or resources would be greatly appreciated!
