Mumbai from my lens
So I and my friend came to Mumbai to enjoy for 2 days after final year exams. Got down at dadar station (it's a maze) at 5:30am and roamed in the flower market. Took a cab to juhu at 7am (250 rs). Good environment as I expected it to be dirty because of my previous mumbai darshan memories, but it was clean. Nothing much visible at distance due to pollution though. Incident to mention:- a naked man(yeah completely naked) was bathing in sea. At first I thought he wore something but then we saw something dangling. After a while a fisherman kaka came with a thick stick and stared beating him and chased him to his clothes and made him wear pants. He definately got some 10-15 shots. Also we saw a lot of couples sitting at some 15-20 meters in a line on the distant side. Juhu to andheri station. Got in the local and slept haha. My friend was awake and he just knew we were heading to cst. He didn't know the full form, train reached and started running backward. After a while I woke up at masjid station and asked him why we are moving backwards and he was clueless:-). Got down at masjid and went back to csmt. Stayed in a dormitory near csmt(400pp) and explored the area nearby. Amazing food mentions:- raghu dosa center and the rabdiwala nearby. Went to collaba causeway market to shop. Bought really less (found fashion Street better for clothes) Marine drive had no place to sit so didn't stay for more than 30 mins. Also no view in the evening as pollution ðŸ˜. Had vadapav at churchgate subway (was good). Went to bandra station via local as we wanted to go to jio world drive. Pls tell me the number of malls of jio! We went to the one with apple store but my friend couldn't find H and M argh. Oh wait before that how can I forget the tussle between the rikshawalas at bandra stations to take us. Got to know why they aren't allowed beyond that point 😶. Why can't we rate these autowals. My rikshawala would have killed 2 people in that 6 min ride. Then headed to mount marry church and walked through the neighborhood and lights. Christmas eve idea from this sub. Thank you guys. Next day went to elephanta caves. (Planned for alibaug but didn't go).We regretted the long boat ride coz no view! But caves were good and also the market. Ek bar jana chahiye. Baki shopping on fashion Street with amazing bargaining. 400-500 me jeans and cargos kaha milenge!. (Pls tell me aur sasta mil jata). Also roamed around manish market and area around. Again back to dadar station and I still can't figure out why it's so complex. Also why it has a fucking market beside it! Finally train in the train general dabba with a seat. Heading back. Life's hectic here I can feel. Seeing people rush through running trains so that they don't miss an empty seat. I guess people get habituated. Except a few we found really polite and helpful people. It's a hustling and busy city with a fast life. I really want to know how do you guys find peace. Also thought about some perspectives on life, maybe in a different post. Had fun and now Full tired. Attaching some not so perfect images.2
