Metro Route options Kandivali east to Airport?

I have a few airport trips coming up both to t1 and t2. This would be weekday evenings during rush hours. I plan to take the western exp line > ghatkopar line > aqua line and same for the trips back from the airport. I'll have just the one cabin bag. Does the route make sense and is it practical to do this during rush hours or should I just uber?
