• How do u say No to a friend who ask for money which u don't have.

My **childhood** best friend asked me for some money. In the past month, I have already lent my friend 1500rs w/o asking him anything which he hasn’t returned.  Few months back, My friend took a loan from CreditBee of around 6.5k and 500 interest. Totalling 7k. His emi cost him 1400 for 5 months. He covered 2 months by himself. He failed to pay last month. He has been charged with 50rs extra for missing the first payment. He requested me to lent him 1200rs that he will payback through his friends in couple of days. I told him he has an entire month to pay off this amount. He could directly pay the emi through his friends. I am running short below my 10K MAB on my bank account. I offered him instead that I would pay the penalty charges costing around 100rs maximum. **About me**: I am a zillenial. It has only been 4 months that I have started using online payment methods. From hearing from my brother's stories about him lending money and being in that hassle. I have a little aversion to lending money which I don’t have.  The **dilemma** is I have money but it’s below my MAB. I have 30 days to restore the MAB. But I don’t trust my friend ability to pay me back plus I wanna lose my mental peace over it. **Tl;dr**: My friend asked me money that he will pay me back in a couple of days through his friends, but my a/c balance is below the MAB required by banks. And I am afraid it will open gates for poor financial habits. Also, he has an entire month to pay off his due amount. at the end, I suggested him that I will pay the penalty charges instead.
