Debt incurred by bother and his friends asking family to pay . What should I do?

My brother (30) have incurred debt of 10 lakh. He doesn't have job and now alcohol addict. His friends gave him money over and over when they were aware he is using that money to play poker and drink alcohol and doesn't have job . Now when they realise he can't pay. They asking us(family) to pay. Worst part my brother still doesn't realise his mistake. Nor say pretty much anything. Just that he owes them money. No transaction details or anything. I know of one case where he took 25k and said he return 1.25 lakh.... He have degree in pharmacy but still didn't apply for license. What should I do? They all asking to pay money immediately
