A day drive in Mumbai

Hey all, I am thinking a family trip (wife and 5 yr son) in Mumbai in our car. I have explored Navi Mumbai side but not much of Mumbai. What should be our itinerary like. I don’t want to cover everything in 1 day but more like cover an area and explore street foods and famous restaurants and places.
