Rant: Quality issues with KTM 390 adv X

Apparently, lack of tft screen, traction control and metzler tyres are not the only ways through which ktm/bajaj cut cost to build the X model of adventure 390. Multiple components of the bike for example the side stand assembly is far less of quality of standard 390. The one seen in picture is a side stand plate belonging to ktm 390 adv x (derived from ktm adv 250 ig) is worth around 600, but for the standard 390 , the same component costs 3000 as it comes with much better quality. I am mostly a highway rider with very minimal off-roading. Bike has never fallen from me. I stand on footpegs on highways and i pivot the vehicle in tight spaces on the side stand. It baffles me that this metal part couldn't take this minimal level stress and BROKE!! Its a pretty good machine and serving very well so far, but, I wouldn't have brought the X variant if KTM/Bajaj had made compromises this far to cut cost. Rant over.
