Motorcycling and gatekeeping.
So there's been a slew of posts recently about real biking and trail vs highway riding and someone being a pro rider etc etc. For those of us who have been around for a bit of time we know that iit is nothing new. But it was always a banter and in the end everyone was a motorcyclist. Just want to remind the young ones that silly banter and online bashing is okay for some time as long as it is in good spirit at the end of the day but on the road, respect everyone, especially yourself. Never ever think that you have an inferior bike. Don't look upto others just because they have an expensive bike. Look upto people who are trying to make motorcycling a posotive place. It is what you do with your bike that matters. Do what makes you happy. But don't violate other people's lives. Don't go through villages at high speeds. Don't cut into a cars line to show a finger to them just because he is being a bad driver. You can put a custom exhaust but use db killer around residential areas. You are on two wheels. You are one ofnthe most vulnerable road users. Act like a sensible human without being a dick to others. Be safe. Reach home to ride another day.2
