How I Chose the Suzuki Gixxer 155cc - A Woman Rider's Journey
I’m a woman rider who learned to ride 6 years ago but couldn’t buy a bike back then due to parental and societal pressures. Fast forward to now—with my own earnings and a renewed passion—I decided it was finally time to fulfill my dream of owning a bike. The journey to choosing my bike was nothing short of a rollercoaster. I watched every bike comparison video, read countless reviews, and scoured the internet for information. After weeks of showroom hopping and narrowing down my options, I was 90% sure I’d go for the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. It seemed like a great bike, but something was holding me back. I wanted a bike that wasn’t just about performance but also felt right for me—comfortable, balanced, and capable of handling both daily commutes and weekend rides. As a previous Suzuki Access owner, I’ve always loved Suzuki’s smooth engine. That thought lingered in my mind. But here’s the catch: there were no test rides available in my hometown, which made me hesitate. Also, there aren’t many videos about it. But I couldn’t get this bike out of my head. Determined, I traveled to the nearest city just to test ride it—and boy, was it worth it. From the moment I revved the engine, I knew this was the one. The ride quality, the engine, the handling, the smoothness, the design—it ticked every box for me. It’s such an unsung beast, and I feel like more people should know how amazing it is. Now, as the proud owner of a Suzuki Gixxer 155cc Ride Connect Edition, I’m excited for all the adventures ahead. It’s an underrated gem, and I wish there were more spotlight on this bike because it truly deserves it. If you’re considering a bike and haven’t checked out the Gixxer yet, trust me—it’s worth the ride! Would love to hear from fellow Gixxer owners or anyone else who’s gone through a similar journey. Let’s share some biking love! PS: The background in the photo with my bike is an AI-generated edit!2
