Good brakes saved me from a bad situation.

So a few days back, I was going on a highway on my motorcycle, maintaining 80km/h at late evening, it was almost dark. I was being cautious and stuff, then I approached a truck from the backside, it was in the middle lane at that time. As I checked in the mirror for upcoming car from the back in the overtaking lane, the truck was almost half into that lane without indicating It! I braked as soon as I realized that but he kept going right until very last moment. I would have become a vegetable for a very long time, had it gone wrong.
