Good brakes saved me from a bad situation.
So a few days back, I was going on a highway on my motorcycle, maintaining 80km/h at late evening, it was almost dark. I was being cautious and stuff, then I approached a truck from the backside, it was in the middle lane at that time. As I checked in the mirror for upcoming car from the back in the overtaking lane, the truck was almost half into that lane without indicating It! I braked as soon as I realized that but he kept going right until very last moment. I would have become a vegetable for a very long time, had it gone wrong. My bike's front was very stable but the rear wheel had locked due to bad MRF tyres KTM gives from the factory (supermoto ABS was active). The 320mm brake with ByBre caliper saved the day. I narrowly eacaped with my bike's right side fairing almost kissing the divider. Yes, the bike was fishtailing from left to right in the rear axle but the front was going straight being very stable. I need to change to a good tyre very soon. Nothing but gratitude for being able to avoid the situation. Ride safe guys, there are idiots out there behind the wheel.5
